Welcome to smallislandmassive.com, home of real Caribbean entertainment. SXMLINK organization started in Miami, FL in 2001.

This was an organization based on focusing on the unity and entertainment of St. Maarten students abroad. It was then noticed that all the small islands have something in common while sharing a connection with one another. For example, some people born in St. Maarten their mother is from Dominica and their father is from Guadeloupe. Our focus shifted to people from the smaller Caribbean islands, and smallislandmassive.com was born. It wasn’t until we reached Miami that we realized that our music from St. Maarten and other small islands was not being heard at local clubs, local radio stations, and other parts of the world. It was time for a change. We created SM-LARGE ENTERTAINMENT, a Disc Jockey service for the Caribbean world. Realizing that other organizations shared similar goals, we united with these organizations in order to build a strong bond.

SM-Large entertainment in Miami, joined forces with Not-A-Cent Productions in Holland and created LARGE RADIO. The primary purpose of LARGE RADIO was to incorporate and promote the music, culture, and vibes from smaller Caribbean islands to the rest of the world. We have an undying love for music as we showcase Classic Soca music (which hardly gets airplay), and music from artists/ bands (full albums and singles) that are mainstream. We like to give you "more music for your money.”

We focus on new hot tracks that come out of every island. Many people think that Soca music only comes from Trinidad, but we continue to prove them wrong everyday. Many people think that there is only one carnival in the world, yet we prove them wrong every day. Many people think Soca music should only be made, heard and played during carnival, but we prove them wrong everyday. Our motto is: "THERE ARE MORE THAN 4 ISLANDS IN THE CARIBBEAN AND SOCA IS ALIVE 12 MONTHS A YEAR.” Yes, we are the home of REAL Caribbean entertainment.

Every year we try to step up our game and bring new things to the table. We now have an online website where you can puchase our mix CDs, watchthemixx.com which contain music from ALL the Caribbean islands. The CDs are mixed by our worldwide DJ team, who want to show the world what small island music can offer.
